Spider-Man Homecoming: Michelle's Party Dress!

Over the time span of running this blog, I have gotten quite a few requests for Michelle Jones' wardrobe pieces as seen in the "Spider-Man: Homecoming" movie, majority of the requests I have gotten over time were for the brown tulle and lace tiered dress that Zendaya's character, Michelle Jones, wore int the infamous house party scene in "Spider-Man: Homecoming" movie when she ate a peanut butter spread on bread and hilariously referred to Peter Parker and Ned as "Losers" for being at the same party that ironically she was at. Michelle the "social outcast" of the Peter Parker's crew, opted to wear the dress as an overlay atop of a casual black ribbed knit long sleeve top, and it made for a very interestingly unfashionable look despite Michelle's eager confidence to stand out from the crowd and clown Peter Parker and Ned. The brown lace and tulle dress itself in question is most likely a customized version of this vintage 50's motif dress by Betsey Johnson. As you can see the dress was modified by the costume designer and their team to accommodate Zendaya's frame. The dress was available at the Vintage Virtuosa consignment boutique and unfortunately, is no longer available for purchase today.
