One of the big events to kick off New York Fashion Week in New York City was the Daily Front Row's 7th Annual Fashion Media Awards, which was held at the Rainbow Room in NYC. This year Zendaya was amongst one of the many honorees by being honored with their "Fashion Force" Award for her trailblazing Fashion moments that she has blessed us with over the years. She was presented with her award by Tommy Hilfiger himself, who said that it was an honor and an opportunity to work with Zendaya because of her commitment and dedication to motivate the new generation into making fashion more inclusive and diverse. During her speech, Zendaya stated that she really does love fashion and that it is so much more than just clothes, it's an emotion.
In true style, styled by Law Roach, Zendaya graced the red carpet of the Fashion Media Awards serving luxurious 70's Style Ultra-Glam in a red velvet Power Tuxedo which consisted of a Polka Dot Pussy Bow Blouse and matching News Boy Cap all from her upcoming "Tommy X Zendaya" Fall 2019 RTW Collection which theme is all about Power Dressing. The "Tommy X Zendaya" Fall Collection makes it's grand debut this Sunday at the Legendary Apollo Theatre, it will also simultaneously be available to purchase online.
For the accessories, Zendaya opted to keep the accessories minimal and keeping the entire focus on the outfit which was a grand statement on its own. The first accessories being her shoes, which were concealed under the boot cut hem of her tuxedo pants, which also turned out to be her satin Christian Louboutin Pigalle Plato 140mm Pumps. These are a Pre-2013 original mold of the classic Pigalle Plato Pump which is no longer available, but still available in the Post-2013 mold and in 120mm. These shoes are surely becoming Zendaya's new favorite as she has worn these shoes during her Spider-Man Press Tour earlier this year in London, and also during her Paris Fashion Week back in July.
As for the jewelry, she wore some statement Diamond Hoop earrings which were custom Jacob & Co. Zebra Hoop 26.48 Carat Earrings in White Gold and Ruby Diamonds.
